Delivery Information
We dispatch plant orders by courier once each week. Our mail order service is currently available only within the island of Ireland.
Ireland
Standard Courier Delivery – €25
- Parcels up to 120 cm × 70 cm × 70 cm
- Maximum weight 30 kg
Oversize Courier Delivery – €40
- Parcels up to 220 cm × 70 cm × 70 cm
- Maximum weight 30 kg
Heavy Orders
For larger or heavier orders (combined weight exceeding 30 kg), we can arrange delivery using a specialist horticultural transport company. These deliveries are made on secure plant trolleys, allowing multiple large specimens to travel safely together.

If you visit the Rare Plant Emporium in person, you are welcome to purchase plants during your visit and we will be happy to arrange delivery for you.
We also offer a Click & Collect service for customers who prefer to collect their plants directly from Kells Bay.
Britain
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to send plants by courier to Britain, as live plants are no longer accepted by courier companies for this route.
However, we travel to Britain several times each year to make deliveries. If you would like to know whether we will be visiting your area, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show, London
We are planning to return to exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2027. If you’re attending, you may be able to pre-order your plants and collect them from our stand.
France
We regret that we are unable to send plants by courier to France or elsewhere in mainland Europe.
However, we travel to France twice each year, in spring and autumn, making deliveries from Cherbourg through Brittany.
